Mandiaoung's Group's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support
A loan helped to buy cans of palm oil, bags of sugar, and boxes of batteries.
Mandiaoung's Group's story
Established in August 25, 2011, the Kairacounda "banc villageois" is comprised of women who all live in the same village. They are very energetic and conduct various income-generating businesses, from small trade to farming. There is a good working relationship among the members of the group. Mrs. Mandiaoung (standing on the far right with her hand raised) is the featured borrower of the group. She is 41 years old, married and the mother of five children, including three boys and two girls. She stays busy selling palm oil, sugar and flashlight batteries that she buys at the weekly markets in the surrounding villages. She has a lot of experience in this field. With her new loan, she plans to buy two 20-liter cans of palm oil, two bags of sugar, and two boxes of batteries. With the income, she should be able to pay for her day-to-day expenses.
