Diarra's Group's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support
A loan helped to buy shoes and one basket of vegetables.
Diarra's Group's story
The Karantaba Banc Villageois was created on August 25, 2011 and comprises women who all live in the same village. The members of the group are very dynamic, they get along well with one another, and they are involved in various income-generating activities such as retail and agriculture. Diarra is the group's featured borrower. In the photo, she is the woman standing at the far right and raising her hand. She is 42 years old, married, and the mother of three children (one boy and two girls). She sells shoes and vegetables. She buys plastic shoes near the border with Guinea and vegetables at local weekly markets. She has a great deal of experience in her field of work. Diarra will use her new loan to buy one bag containing 100 pairs of shoes and one basket of vegetables. Thanks to her profits, she can sometimes help with the day-to-day expenses, she can buy school supplies and cover her own needs.
