Pedro's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more grocery items for his variety store business.

Pedro's story

Pedro is thankful that there are people willing to help new entrepreneurs who are financially challenged. The previous loan of PHP 50,000 became a way to increase his daily sales. He bought grocery items to sell. He wants to thank every lender participating in the Kiva program and Center for Community Transformation (CCT) as well.

Pedro wants to have an established savings account for his family’s future. He also dreams of expanding his variety store someday with the help of the Lord as He’s using people not just financially but also imparting knowledge on how to run the business properly.

He prays that God may touch the hearts of the people who will read his story as he’s applying for a loan of PHP 20,000. He will buy more grocery items to provide a complete range of products to customers.

Pedro regularly meets with his co-fellowship members to share his life’s testimony and business experience and to draw strength and inspiration from the fellowship and listen to the Word of God. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 members. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social relationships with other partners, and pay back microfinance loans.
