Andro Gramshang Shg Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy different varieties of vegetables for selling.

Andro Gramshang Shg Group's story

Purnimashi is 47-year-old married woman and is a mother to three children (two daughters and a son); two of her children are pursuing their studies. She is the representative of the group Andro Gramshang Shg and also the featured borrower with her hand raised in the picture. She and her husband reside in Andro Khunou, Manipur, where wine-making and piggery are the most common activities.

She is engaged in selling vegetables but the income she gets is meager since she is unable to keep more varieties of vegetables to sell. She applies for a WSDS loan so that she can purchase different varieties of vegetables and sell them so that she could earn more income which will be used for meeting the daily needs of the family and also pay for her children's educational fees.

Purnimashi expresses her heartfelt gratitude toward WSDS and the funders for their generosity and helpfulness and is eagerly awaiting the loan. Likewise the rest of the members are engaged in weaving, wine making, piggery, and poultry and are eagerly waiting for the loan to start their respective income generating activities.
