Angel Elias's story

Ángel lives in the small town of los Chorritos de Sabanagrande in the south of Honduras. He is 37 years old, is married and lives with his wife and two children in their own home.

For 15 years, he has earned a living in the business of running a grocery store. He is an entrepreneurial man with the desire to improve his business every day and to fulfil the dream of seeing his family have a better quality of life.

With the loan that he asking asking for from Prisma and Kiva, he will stock up his business by buying rice, sugar, butter, beans, eggs, dairy products, cold meats, chicken, meats, churros, bread, donuts, soft drinks, juices and other products, which will satisfy his customers and improve his earnings. His customers are his neighbours and people who pass through the area. His business has been running for 15 years and he earns a good income.

Ángel is asking for a loan from Prisma and Kiva because he wants to see his business stocked up as it is his livelihood with which he has maintained his family for a long time. With the loan he will be able to continue improving his living conditions and those of his family.
