Margaret's story

Meet Margaret. A young lady, humble, ambitious and very optimistic. She was brought up by a single parent. Her parent was no financial stable for a long time and thus, Margaret could not further her education to the tertiary level. Margaret joined Digital Divide Data in 2014. DDD enables talented youth from low-income backgrounds to access professional opportunities and acquire higher education. DDD offer work-study program to its employees where it give them a partial scholarship to facilitate their school. Margaret, with the scholarship has begun her studies in pursuit of a degree course in Public Policy Administration at Kenyatta University in January 2016. She is thus requesting a loan to help clear her remaining fee balance for her first academic year. Her goals is improve the lives of her family and see her other siblings through campus. She hopes that one day she would get a chance to work with the Kenyan government to analyze policy issues and also be a role model to other ladies in the society.
