Prima Group's story

Revised

The group called "Prima" is characterized as being only made up of very friendly, hard-working people who are close-knit in the face of any challenge. Their name ["Cousin"'] reflects the familiarity with which they treat each other. They are from different communities however they all identify themselves as having Mazahua ethnic roots and many still keep their language, traditions and typical foods of the region.

J. Guadalupe is a hard-working, responsible and enterprising man but, above all, is very cheerful and has a lot of desire to achieve his goals. Thanks to the combined efforts that he made with his wife, now their three children are independent and have their own families.

At the beginning, he worked in a fabric store where he gradually acquired enough experience in both customer service and business management. Then, he decided to go out on his own and open his own business with the sale of plastic, clay items, clothing, etc., depending on the customers' demands. Currently, his business is selling fruits and vegetables, which he has had for 33 years, thanks to the experience and good business sense. "I always prefer to earn even if I have to lose sometimes since, with work, later I earn more," he says confidently.

On the other hand, he is very grateful for the loans since, with them, he has been able to get his children ahead, remodel his house, and purchase some land near his house. At this time, he will use this new loan to purchase fruits and vegetables but his dream is to open a paper goods store in his municipality.

The other members of the group are Geovanna, who will invest in hats and caps, while Julieta and Rosalba will use theirs for fruit. It is worth mentioning that J. Guadalupe, Julieta and Rosalba are always together since they rent spaces in the local market where they work every day.
