La Poma Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase firewood, sugar, butter and cakes.

La Poma Group's story

The group ¨La Poma¨ consists of 3 hard-working people who have demonstrated their ability to get ahead with the effort that they dedicate to their jobs every day. The group is coordinated by Isidra, who is 44 years old and married. Isidra has been working with the microcredit institution for 28 loan cycles.

She has worked for 20 years selling sweets like Nicaraguan Christmas cake, soft caramels, candies, and cakes. Now she needs the loan to make these delicious products and she will invest in the purchase of firewood, sugar, butter and cakes. With the help of her husband, she hopes to get ahead and to pay off the loan according to the terms.

The other members of the group are Rosa, 46, who sells hens and bananas, and Antonio, 43, who sells clothing as a street vendor.
