Musarat's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy raw materials and wooden frames of her own for directly selling her handmade embroidery into the market.

Musarat's story

Musarat is a 54-year-old, married woman.

For many years, she has been knitting embroidery by hand, at home, to support her family. In fact, her husband remains sick most of the time and is unable to do a job. To cherish her children and meet household expenses, she started embroidering at home. A supplier comes to her home and provides her all the raw materials for knitting embroidery. Along with her daughters, she completes her tasks over a wooden frame.

She wants to sell knitted embroidery directly in the market, so that she can earn more profit for her family. She has become expert in her art and wants to buy raw materials of her own, so that she can sell her handmade embroidery in her hometown.

Therefore, Musarat has requested a Kiva loan to buy raw materials and wooden frames of her own, so she can knit more embroidery dresses to sell and generate maximum income.

She is a mother of two daughters and two sons. She hopes to get a boost in her earnings through her large sales. She wishes to utilize a portion of her revenue to provide a quality education for her children.
