Binda And Group's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to purchase paddy and to bear the operational cost for the family's paddy business.

Binda And Group's story

26-year-old Binda lives with her husband, Ranjit, and her children in a rural village in the North Dinajpur district of West Bengal. Her children attend the local village school, but she and her husband are struggling to pay all of their educational expenses due to lack of money.

To fund the expenses of his family, her husband runs a small-scale paddy business. He purchases paddy (unrefined rice) from the wholesale market at a low price and removes all impurities and unfilled grains from the paddy. Then they separate the husk from clean paddy after the husk is removed and make it ready for the milling process. It removes the bran layer of rice turning brown rice into white rice. He sells the finished product to the shops in his neighborhood to earn some profit.

But Binda's husband is not earning enough to pay for the family expenses and their children's education expenses. So Binda has decided to expand their business by buying more paddy. Hence Binda came forward to support her husband’s business. She seeks a loan to expand their business.

Binda is joined by ten other women who seek funding to expand their respective businesses. Your loan will help these women make better earnings and save more for their future needs.
