Kadiatou's Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to buy five trays of 30 eggs each, one 30-kilo bag of potatoes, one 50-kilo bag of onions, and one 20-liter bottle of refined oil.
Kadiatou's Group's story
This group of 31 women was created in June 2007, on the day of the inauguration of the Banc Villageois. The members of the group all live in the same village; they support one another and are very determined and courageous. Their main activity is small retail business, restauration, and red-fed crop cultivation. Kadiatou (seated at the far left in the photo and raising her hand) is the group's featured borrower. She is 49, married, and the mother of three girls. Kadiatou sells breakfasts. She has a great deal of experience in this field, as she has been involved in the same activity for many years. She is planning to use her loan to buy five trays of 30 eggs each, one 30-kilo bag of potatoes, one 50-kilo bag of onions, and one 20-liter bottle of refined oil to prepare breakfasts. She will use her profits to cover her family's needs and to boost her savings.
