Ma. Luisa's story

Ma. Luisa is glad to have learned about CCT's and KIVA's mission of assisting micro-entrepreneurs like her. The previous loan granted to her helped sustain her fruit/vegetable stand. It has ensured steady income to support her family.

Once again she trusts that you could still lend her funds in the amount of Php 19,000 to pay for various kind of fruits and veggies such as bananas, cabbage, eggplant, bitter gourd, beans, onions, garlic, etc. to sell at her store. She already has gained loyal customers at her community for her fresh produce. Her requested amount will surely help grow her vegetable/fruit sales.

Ma. Luisa's simple dream is to have have her own place in a nearby commercial area to attract more customers. She desires for her children to finish college. She faithfully meets up with her co-fellowship members to share stories of her work every week and where she can also draw strength and inspiration from the word of God she studies.

* All CCT community partners / clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the word of God, build social capital and pay Micro finance loans.
