Madiene's Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy three cartons of 30 kg of oranges, two cartons of 25 kg of apples, and one carton of 15 kg of bananas to sell retail, at the regional market.

Madiene's Group's story

This group of 22 members was created in December 2012 at the inauguration of their Banc Villageois. It is composed of women who get along well with each other, have a good group spirit, and are on their 32nd loan. Their primary activity is small-scale retailing.

Madame Madiéne (standing on the far right, raising her hand) is the featured borrower in the group. She is 40 years old, married, and the mother of three children. She sells seasonal fruit.

With this new loan she intends to buy three cartons of 30 kg of oranges, two cartons of 25 kg of apples, and one carton of 15 kg of bananas to sell, retail, at the regional market.

With the profits she intends to participate in covering family expenses (medical care, food, clothing, school fees, etc.)
