Jitegemee Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to increase the stock of fresh fish and add more cans of cooking oil and firewood for frying fish.

Jitegemee Group's story

Christina, 40, is a single mother of three grown children. Since she has been living with no husband, she sacrificed and put all of her effort towards providing for her family. She has been in the fish selling business for four years now. She sells fresh and fried fish to her customers. She normally works from 7 am to 7 pm daily, and she's able to make a good profit.

This will be her first loan from Tujijenge Tanzania. She plans to use this loan to increase the stock of fresh fish and add more cans of cooking oil and firewood for frying fish.

Christina dreams of owning her own butcher shop to help her cover household expenses in the near future.

She will share this loan with her two fellow members of Jitegemee Group, who will hold one another accountable for paying back all of the loan.
