A loan helped to buy certified seeds and poultry feed.

Women Of Faith Victory Group's story

Rahab, age 52 (pictured with her hand raised), is a member of Women of Faith Victory Group, which joined Hand in Hand Eastern Africa in 2014. She keeps poultry to earn an income, as well as farming maize, beans, potatoes, and cabbage. As a member of her group, she has benefited from enterprise development and financial management training.

She and her husband have three children.

Rahab requested a loan in order to purchase certified seeds and poultry feed so that she can produce enough eggs and farm produce to meet customer demand. She is confident that this will increase her income, and she will use her improved earnings to provide food and clothing for her family.

She is very happy and grateful to Kiva and its lenders for the help and support.
