Busisiwe's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to buy a car engine and pay for installation and a full vehicle service.
Busisiwe is a 53-year-old mother of one. She has been running a daycare center for the past 20 years. In that time, she has expanded the center into a respected institution that makes a positive mark on the society. Indeed, the center currently employs 12 people, making it a standout employer for members of the community. Despite its unquestionable success, the center also has its challenges. Busisiwe offers transport services for the children to make it more convenient for parents by picking up and dropping off the children. However, the school van recently broke down, forcing her to hire alternative transport. This is costly to her and to the parents, who must now pay more for the transport services. "It's affecting my business because parents are complaining that they cannot afford the extra money," says a desperate Busisiwe. Subsequently, she is requesting a loan to buy a new engine for the car. The loan will also pay for servicing the car (including installation of the new engine). With this loan, Busisiwe will be able to repair her van and rectify the transport issue so that the center can continue to service the area.
