A loan helped to build a small cafe.

Heidy Aracely's story

Heidy, who is 30 years old, went to school through ninth grade. She wasn't able to continue with her studies because of economic reasons in her family. Now she is the single mother of two children, of whom one attends a pre-school, and she lives with only her two children.

Heidy has had three years of selling snacks such as meat loaf, enchiladas, and tamales, a business that her mother taught her so that she could fend for herself in the future. She does this four times a week. Heidy gets up very early to get her children ready so that they can go to school, and then she begins the preparation of the snacks.

Heidy needs the loan for the construction of a small cafe, in order to be able to have a sales location for her snacks.

Heidy dreams of being able to continue working in order to always be generating income for the household expenses and the education of her children.
