Jose Salvador's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase supplies such as manure, fertilizers and pay for weeding to maintain his corn and coffee crops.

Jose Salvador's story

José, 50 years old, is married, has 3 children and lives with his family in the municipality of Azacualpa, Santa Bárbara. All of his life, he has worked growing basic grains. For approximately 13 years, he has grown corn and he also has a plot of coffee on his own land. He sells his production to intermediaries in the zone. The loan that he requests is his fifth loan cycle with ODEF and is for 15,000 lempiras, with which he will purchase supplies such as manure, fertilizer, and pay for weeding to maintain his crops of corn and coffee. With this investment, he will increase his production. His plan is to purchase another coffee farm to get more income.
