El Mahaba Wel Sadaka Group's story

Samia is the featured borrower for El Mahaba wel Sadaka Group. She collaborated with her other group members to take this Al Majmoua loan because they have always been neighbors and friends. They are working hard to develop their businesses and living at the same time.

Samia is a 52-year-old widowed mother of five and a Palestinian refugee. Seven years ago, she opened a grocery shop to cover the needs and expenses of her children for she became their only breadwinner after her husband passed away. She is a hard worker and sacrificing mother. Today, she is acquiring a loan from Kiva's field partner Al Majmoua to increase her merchandise with new offers and items to satisfy her customers' demands. She is well-known among her region and has a good reputation among her customers. Samia is the lady standing in the middle.

With respect to the other group members, Huda is on the right, and Safaa is the lady standing on the left of the photo.
