Gulzanda's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support
A loan helped to buy new fruit trees and fertilizers for the vegetables.
Gulzanda is a 60-year-old internally displaced person (IDP) from the Bilasuvar region. She is married with three sons. They are all married and live with their own families, but all three of them come and visit her every day. She grows some vegetables and fruits in her family's yard. She loves this job and has more than 25 years' experience. With the support of her sons and especially her husband's help, Gulzanda is running quite a successful farming business. Her husband used to be a teacher at the school but is now retired and helps her with great passion. To manage the farm she relies on her children's support as well, with watering, cleaning the yard and other related works. They support each other very well. Gulzanda is running the farm with great passion and love, because she wants to contribute to her sons’ families. Gulzanda sells the natural fruits and vegetables in the local market. In Azerbaijan there is a great demand for vegetables to make traditional foods like dolma, bozbash and also the fruits for after dinner deserts. She is currently planning to expand the business. She requires 2400 AZN to buy new fruit trees and fertilizers for the vegetables. She hopes that KIVA lenders will support her.
