Kiran's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to invest in her husband's fruit business.

Kiran's story

Kiran is 27 years of age. She lives in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. She is a housewife and looks after her family at home.

Her husband has owned a fruit selling business for 25 long years. Every day, he purchases fresh and seasonal fruits from the main market at wholesale prices and sells from his fruit shop at retail. He gets a reasonable profit as he is honest enough.

He manages his household necessities from his earnings through this fruit business. He speaks in a humble tone which is impressive, and he easily wins the trust of his customers. He wants to increase his stock of fruit on a daily basis.

Therefore, his wife, Kiran, applied for a loan from BRAC Pakistan, a Kiva field partner. In this way, she can support her husband's business. She thanks Kiva and its field partner BRAC Pakistan.
