Sinat's Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to buy fertilizer and to pay for plowing fees to improve her rice farmland.
Sinat's Group's story
A mother blessed with three children living in Kampong Cham province, Sinat is 53 years old. She is growing rice as her main source of her income to improve on her living conditions. Moreover, she is working as a laborer for others to earn extra income. Sinat has been farming for 35 years and can save about 2.50 USD per day. But her rice did not grow well recently, so she could not sell it at a higher price. For Sinat, this is her second microloan with VisionFund, and she repaid her past loan on time. Her family’s living is better than before because of her previous loan. In a group of three, Sinat is the group leader. She will use her entire loan portion to buy more fertilizer and to pay for plowing fees in order to support her rice farmland. She hopes that she can upgrade her conditions to be better next year.
