A loan helped to improve his banana plantation by pruning it.

Kirangara Savings And Credit. Group's story

Joseph is a member of Kirangara Savings and credit where members guarantee each other when borrowing and for loan repayment. He is a 34 year old married man with 5 children, all living in Fort Portal Uganda. He owns a business of motorcycle transport and farming growing food crops like matooke and rearing goats. It is now over 5 years when he has been operating these businesses and is charged with the responsibility of paying school fees and scholastic materials for his children plus providing family needs for his home.

However, challenges of inadequate capital resources and high disease rate among the goats and banana has made him lag behind. He has future plans of building a permanent house and educating all his children to higher levels of learning. Joseph needs a loan to help him improve his banana plantation by pruning it.
