Kiletien Women Group (Beeston)'s story

The lady raising her hand in the photo is Viola. She is married and blessed with four children. She is a member of Kiletien Women Group (Beeston), which joined Hand in Hand Eastern Africa in the year 2014 and has benefited from enterprise development and financial management training.

Viola farms maize, beans, vegetables and dairy. She is requesting a Kiva loan to buy certified seeds and fertilizer. She hopes that this will improve her production and, hence, increase her income. She will use the anticipated income to pay school fees for her children.

She is grateful to Kiva for the financial support and promises to repay promptly.
