Grupo Cruz Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy equipment: a mirror, a sink, and a chair.

Grupo Cruz Group's story

Grupo Cruz is from the state of Mexico. It's made up of four women who are very hardworking, friendly, and, above all, happy, and willing to improve their quality of life. They're especially happy because they're improving their businesses gradually thanks to loans from VFMéxico. At the same time, they admire their town because of their roots in the Mazahua culture; the streets are very peaceful and full of nature.

Blanca Flor is one of the youngest members, but this does not get in the way of her great entrepreneurial spirit. She's also very friendly and full of happiness. She was attracted to cutting hair from a very young age because she saw how you could change a person's appearance with your skills. Some time later she heard about beautician courses and she decided to study feverishly until she became a professional.

Once she had all the knowledge, her father built her a store that she set up as her new salon. Gradually she got all the tools and products so any customer would trust enough to request her services. "Fortunately VFMexico came into my life, because thanks to my first loan I was able to buy an electric machine, a dryer, combs, and everything I needed for my customers to always come back," Blanquis--as she is known affectionately--said happily.

This new change has set very well with her because she has gotten very good results and her clientele has increased. To continue down this road, she will invest this new loan in buying a mirror, a sink, and a special chair. For now her goal is to manage to relocate her beauty salon downtown. "I want to keep on improving my job so people return to me. Also take more classes," she said.

The other members of the group are Sandra, who will invest in blankets; Alicia, in shoes; and Ana, in perfume.
