Alive For Health Group's story

Monica is a 48-year-old woman from Korle-Gorno, Chorkor. She is married and has a 24-year-old son. Her husband works hard as a shopkeeper while Monica operates a grocery store business, where she sells a variety of goods. Aside from this, she is also involved in a direct-selling business.

Monica describes her biggest business challenge as having insufficient capital. So this is why she is asking for a loan. She will buy grocery items such as drinks, sugar, salt, flour, eggs, spices, noodles, canned goods, toiletries, chips, biscuits and candies. Monica’s main goal in life is to own a department store where she can sells her products. In some way, she will be able to augment her livelihood.

She is the group representative of Alive for Health Group with her counterpart, Sarah, who sells utensils.
