Everlyne's Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase a solar light and gain access to cost efficient hybrid seeds and fertilizer for maize cultivation.

Everlyne's Group's story

Everlyne is a 29-year-old woman with 5 children. She represents a 10-member group of farmers in Webuye District, Kenya.

Everlyne has farmed with One Acre Fund for years and joined the program in 2012. This decision was largely a result of her desire to earn enough money to feed her family. She described her last harvest as very good but believes she could have a better one this year by continuing to work alongside One Acre Fund. Everlyne also decided to purchase a solar light to have light during dark hours for her children to study.

Obtaining this loan means that Everlyne's Group will be able to receive a total of 4 solar lights and inputs to plant a total of 5.25 acres.
