Florinda's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy an overstitch sewing machine to sew collars to make her works in an independent manner and generate income for her son.

Florinda's story

Florinda is 41, works in a workshop tailoring athletic clothing. She does all types of apparel, like athletic jackets, sweatshirts, track suits, etc. They pay her for each piece made - they give her all types of cuts all the time. She's acquired a lot of experience. A month ago, they gave her the notice that they would close the workshop and that they wouldn't need her services any longer. This is why Florinda is applying for the loan for the purchase of an overstitch sewing machine, which she needs to start working in an independent manner. This is the fundamental tool for starting to make her own apparel and therefore be able to start her own business.

Florinda has three children, is separated, the two eldest don't depend on her income anymore but the small one is 10 years old, who is her companion. Florinda comments that it is he who gives her strength and motivates her to carry out this enterprise.
