Somos Catrachos Group's story

The supportive group "We are Hondureños" consists of three clients who have businesses in neighborhoods very close to the market and are well known there. Etelvina M. has a job in a grocery store in the Nacaome market. She is 57 with five dependent children. She is settled in the small village of El Chorro in the Goascoran Valley. She needs this loan in order to buy more products to sell. She needs to stock her business well, given that her clients' demands are many and she quickly runs out of in-demand products. Bernarda R. is 48 and is settled in the Brisas del Sur neighborhood with three dependents. Her husband, Don Concepcion Villalobos, is a cobbler who repairs shoes in the market. The two together help each other with household responsibilities. Bernarda sells soft drinks and firewood in the colony where she lives. She needs this loan to buy more soft drink inventory. The couple's shared dream is to have a shoe repair shop in the house where they live. Maria Villalobos is 20 years old and has lived in the Suyapa neighborhood for 10 years. She is single and works as a tailor and also sells clothes. She needs this loan to buy materials, thread, snap fasteners, zippers, etc. She hopes to grow her business.
