Margarita's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped expand her production of yucca, thus earning more money for her family.

Margarita's story

Margarita lives in town of Entre Ríos, in the tropics of Cochabamba with her husband and their two children, whom they care for and support in their primary schooling. Margarita has worked as a farmer for ten years. She grows yucca. Her husband supports her in tending and harvesting the plant. They sell the yucca where it is harvested to various seasonal produce vendors. In total, they sell 600 quintals (hundredweight) per year and earn an average income in the market.

Margarita is very hard-working. Her goal is to expand economically and get ahead for the well being of her children, whom she would like to provide with better living conditions. Margarita observed that yucca is easy to care for, which is why she decided to expand her production and improve her income. This is why she needs this loan to expand production; doing this work will allow her to achieve her proposed goals.
