Zainabu's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to increase the stock of juice and Azam cola, which is the preferred brand among youth in Dar.

Zainabu's story

Zainabu is a married woman with three schooling children. She is in her mid 30s and has owned a grocery store that sells soft drinks to her customers for six years now. She normally works from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. every working day and she is able to raise a good monthly profit.

This will be her 15th loan with Tujijenge Tanzania. She used her previous loan to buy more crates of soda, juice and Sayona to meet her customers' demands.

Zainabu has managed to pay back all her loans and she appreciates Kiva for the support given to her loan group, which is now doing well.

She used her profit for loan repayment, to cover household expenses, to pay school fees for the family and to buy home furniture. She will use this loan to increase the stock of juice and Azam cola, which is the preferred brand among youth in Dar.

She dreams of opening a food vending stall and a charcoal store.

Zainabu will be accountable for paying back her loan.
