Carmenza is married. She has four children. Three of them are adolescents and study at their respective primary and secondary schools. Her youngest child is three years old. She earns a living growing coffee and currently possesses 1.5 manzanas (a local land measure) of coffee. With her previous loan from Kiva she was able to acquire the construction material needed to make improvements on her house. She is very grateful for the previous loan as she managed to improve her and her family's living conditions.
Carmenza is once again requesting a loan with funds from Kiva to maintain 1.5 manzanas of producing coffee plants. With this investment she will buy the manure needed for the optimal growth of her crop.
