Anuar Joaquin

Anuar is a young, 25-year-old micro entrepreneur. He lives in the city of Cartagena de Indias where he has a carpentry and upholstery shop.

Anuar started this business over three years ago. After having worked as a carpenter's assistant he decided to become independent, and started this adventure on his own. He has gained a good reputation in the area as a responsible and hardworking person who provides good service. Thanks to that he has been able to move his family forward and provide a better quality of life and better education.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic he had to suspend his work because of health concerns and national government directive. Because of that his income was drastically affected.

Anuar is currently seeking his first Kiva loan to increase his work capital and to buy wood, adhesives, chemicals and paints, among other necessary supplies. Support him with this loan for his business.
