Santos Julio

Santos has worked growing coffee for 12 years. He has 6.5 manzanas in production of high quality coffee. [One manzana equals approximately 1.72 acres.] In the last three years his harvest has increased to almost double its size. He sells his coffee through the business platform promoted by Pueblos en Acción Comunitaria (PAC) under the Fair Trade label.

Thanks to the good quality of the coffee produced on his farm, he has experienced an increase in demand for his coffee. For that reason he seek a loan to establish 4 manzanas of coffee, which will permit him to to increase his production and improve his position by offering a greater volume. His dream is to double his area in the next years.
