Kiva Lending Team: SJSU/Salzburg Global Citizens
We loan because...
If we don't, who will? If not now, when?
As part of its efforts to prepare students for living and working in a global world, San José State University entered into a long-term partnership with the Salzburg Global Seminar in 2005 to participate in its International Study Program in Global Citizenship (ISP). SJSU is the major public institution of higher education in Silicon Valley, which is ground zero for many aspects of globalization, and we need to help people develop the capabilities to understand and resolve the critical challenges facing humanity in the 21st century.
