Kiva Lending Team: Narrate Church
We loan because...
We are called to serve the orphaned, the widowed, the poor and the oppressed.
Narrate is a movement that gathers on Sunday to wrestle with who God really is, what He is really like and what His dreams for the world really are and then spends the other six days out among the community telling God’s story with our lives. We believe that when Jesus broke bread, gave it to His disciples and said, “Do this in memory of me,” the “this” refers not simply to the sacrament of communion, but also to the breaking of our body and the pouring out of our blood for others. We agree that the church exists for the benefit of its non-members and that God’s interest is both personal and social, individual and systemic.
So we serve by partnering with organizations and meeting needs.
