The MicroCredit Program provides UST undergraduate students with a unique educational opportunity to learn practical ways and means to effect meaningful improvement in the lives of the world’s poor through active management of the Fund. By participation in the Program, these students will have the opportunity to learn practical methods by which freedom, equality, democracy and social justice may be enhanced by small loans to the poor.

About us
The Center for International Studies Micro-Credit Program is dedicated toassisting micro-entrepreneurs living below the poverty threshold to start income generating businesses. The program seeks to promote freedom, fairness and democracy around the world by endorsing basic principles of micro-entrepreneurship, self-employment, property rights, and wealth accumulation, while integrating the Catholic values of the University of St. Thomas.
