We realize that financial inclusion of the worlds poorest through microfinance can promote sustainable solutions and empowerment, and that photography is a powerful tool for telling the unheard stories of poverty.
About us
Extreme poverty is something that most in the developed world do not have to see very often. When it is visible, it is through the work of documentary photojournalists, videojournalists, etc... This group is a place for amateurs and professionals alike who share a passion for photography and for social justice. As membership grows we can hopefully share some of our work that is relevant to what Kiva is doing.
