About us
In Afghanistan since 1966, IAM is the longest, continually serving NGO in the country. It employs 500 Afghans, Sixty expatriate Christian professionals from Europe, North America, Asia, and Oceana volunteer an average of 3 years and pay their own way.

IAM came to the world's attention when ten of its workers were murdered in August 2010 as they returned from a health clinic in a remote area. This team was established in their memory and in honor and support of those who serve.
