We loan because...
We are connecting responsible science to social commitment. Our process builds sustainability through delivering practical scientific information to those who live and work in some of the world's most biodiverse areas. IVTP builds trust through networking and communication to establish sustainability for wildlife and their habitats and viable livelihoods for communities in remote areas of Southeast Asia.

We believe measurable success comes from integrating scientific knowledge with an understanding of cultural sensitivity and a commitment to societal expectations. Working together, we make our world healthier.

About us
We connect borrowers to Indonesian veterinarians through kiva.org.
Our Vision: Global health initiatives require integrating animal, human and environmental health concerns at the community level.

The International Wildlife Veterinary Training Program (IVTP) focuses its work in Indonesia and combines the unique strengths of animal health programs from the Woodland Park Zoo with the Indonesian Veterinary Medical Association (IVMA). Our goal is to enhance environmental management and leadership capacity in the tropics for healthy wildlife. Integrating basic medical care with environmental protection strategies focused in Southeast Asia, IVTP offers cutting-edge training and networking opportunities to support human and animal health, sustainable biodiversity and community welfare.
