We loan because:: We know that the extreme poverty that we are seeing in 500 million Africans today is not going to diminish until local women groups and other micro-enterpreneurs are assisted with micro-credit to grow their ventures, support their families and create jobs for others. In sub-Sahara Africa, there are lots of talented but impoverished entrepreneurs and farmers and we know that if they receive our coaching and seed money, they will be productive, their communites will grow and we will have planted a seed for a better world in that small corner of the globe.
About us:: We are Africans in Diaspora and Friends of Africa. Many of us originated from the various impoverised towns and villages in Africa and now working and living in the developed countries of the world. We have received and continue to receive several requests for assistance and through this Team, we want to assist these African local entrepreneurs that are working hard to create a business to support themselves and their families. We would also like to assist membership based organizations, trades groups, age-grades, "Isusu" Teams, etc.
This Team is Affiliated with International Charity for Africa (ICAfrica) a Canadian NGO.
