We a friends and fans of Tujijenge Tanzania, Ltd., a Kiva partner located in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania! Tujijenge provides services including credit, savings, life and medical insurance to Tanzania's poor.

In Tanzania, lack of access to capital is one of the major barriers to development and success for small businesses. Commercial banks are discouraged from and unwilling to lend to micro-enterprises. But with our help, Tujijenge can provide poor entrepreneurs with capital to run and improve their businesses, thereby improving their lives.
