We loan because each of us can make a difference in the world! Micah 6:8 says "Do justice, love kindness, walk humbly with your God". The word justice in the Hebrew language of the O.T. is “mishpat”. It means God’s wisdom, God’s law, God’s distributive judgment…that within the human family there would be fair play, everyone would get a piece of the pie, an equal share of the blessings of being here.
