Kiva Lending Team: Riyadh Expats and Friends
We loan because...
"Be compassionate... And take responsibility for each other. If we only learned those lessons, this world would be so much better a place... Love each other or die.”
― Tuesdays with Morrie
Living and working in Riyadh, we are surrounded by fellow human beings who leave their family and loved ones behind, in hopes that the little money they make here will be enough to provide a better future for their children. (I'm not talking about western Expats. I'm talking about the ones from 3rd world countries, that have to leave their home, and come to Saudi to pick up trash.) We are constantly reminded of how fortunate we are because of where we were raised, and this is our chance to help parents to see their children grow up...
