This team supports loans to female entrepreneurs with a dream.

Our team photo is the Kazi za Jamii B group of Tanzania. The group's leader, Husna Juma, is a 30 year old mother of 5 and a charcoal seller who runs her own business and has also opened a small nursery school in her neighborhood.

We do not support loans to women who are borrowing on behalf of a husband or son. Although there is reason to think these loans empower women within their own families, the interest of this team is to empower female entrepreneurs who are growing their own business and working to improve the lives of those around them as well, whether through a school like Husna Juma, with enterprising business solutions to local needs like Maria Josefa Gomez Perez, or through other means.
