Kiva Lending Team: Cornell University's MicroChange
We loan because...
The purpose of our organization is to perform the following:
1. Alleviate global poverty by implementing an efficient and flexible microcredit loan program and reaching out through community service.
2. Eliminate gender inequality and labor barriers.
3. Provide the necessary capital to aspiring entrepreneurs who are marginalized by traditional loan programs.
4. To educate the Cornell University community about international issues concerning poverty and global inadequacies.
We firmly believe that a person can make a difference with a dollar in one hand, and a passionate goal to help others in the other hand. Change can occur! Join us in that change. It only takes a local act to make a global impact.
We are very determined in our cause, and we are very friendly and are an approachable team that is always open to new ideas.
