Kiva Lending Team: Charles Roberts Jr. Memorial
We loan because...
To honor the memory of a wonderful husband, dad, brother, uncle, grandfather and friend, Charles Roberts Jr., who died on August 21, 2010 shortly after being diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumor. Charlie's gift to his family and the world was his caring nature, kindness for all, concern for children, generosity of spirit, sense of humor, great smile and the personal warmth that he shared so freely with all those who were fortunate enough to have come into contact with him during his lifetime.
By helping others in this way Charlie's love, warmth, kindness and concern for kids will live on and we will be able to keep his legacy of love and concern for children alive and moving forward.
We are a group of people who want to honor the memory of Charles Roberts Jr., by finding ways of helping others so that children across the globe have access to basic necessities such as food, clothing, clean water, education, medical care and a chance to fufill their dreams and improve their lives. We work together to accomplish this goal through the Kiva loans that we make in his honor.
