- Azerbaijan is an emerging democracy in a critical region of the world. While it plays a critical role in the delivery of energy to Western Europe, it's economy cannot be built on oil alone. It is through the innovation and energy of these entrepreneurs that Azerbaijan will flourish and move past the economic and social difficulties that face it today.
