The “Banc Villageois of Montagne Sud” has been created on March 28, 2008. The PC 02 group is composed of 18 women living in the same neighborhood and working mainly as vendors and livestock farmers.

The group’s leader, Mrs. Ndéye, is 30 years old. She is married and the mother of two boys, five and three years of age. She retails cosmetic products in her neighborhood. She has sufficient experience with this work, over two years. On the photo she is standing on the right, with a green shawl around her shoulders, and raising her left hand.

She buys her goods (perfume, body milk, incense etc) from a mass merchant at the central market of her town, and resells in her neighborhood.
She would like to use her loan to buy 20 packs of perfume, 20 cases of body milk and some jars of incense in order to earn good revenues. She plans to use her income to bolster her savings in order to obtain a special loan one day and, eventually, a loan to launch a small business.
