$0 of $825 raised.

Started raising funds on May 25, 2012

Patric is 44 years old and lives in the town of Kireka in the Kampala south region of Uganda. He is married and has two children, both of whom are currently in school. For the past 6 years, Patric has been working hard to manage his workshop business, which sells refrigerators.

To help expand his business, Patric has requested a loan of 2,000,000 Ugandan Shillings (UGX) from BRAC Uganda. The loan will be used to buy more stock, like a fridge, for resale. This will help Patric generate greater profits and increase his income. Patric hopes that in the future he will be able to open a bigger workshop.

Patric is a member of BRAC's Small Enterprise Program (SEP). The program primarily serves small entrepreneurs like Patric who do not have enough collateral for commercial loans, but have businesses that have grown too large for microloans.
